Ilocos Tour - Day 1 - Marsha's Delight and Bantay Bell Tower

| The breakfast that marked our first day! Bumaba ako sa van: "Ako lang ba? O malamig talaga?" - may kasamang nginig sa sobrang lamig habang naka-jacket na. "hehehe." - Kuya Guard. Narinig niya pala ko. |

| We also changed clothes, brushed teeth and washed our faces at the restroom of this restaurant since that was already the start of our super duper long day. Yes, without even getting a good night sleep and bathing. Larga na! Meron naman good van sleep the whole night. :)) |

| Taken at the Bell tower's third level where only the strong can climb. Joke. It's not that scary climbing up a wooden staircase especially when you can hear creaking sounds and the wooden flooring with small gaps helps also to make it easier. Haha. :)) The tower is the highest point in town, it's called "bantay" because it was also used as a watch tower during the Spanish Colonial Era. There were only few renovations done in that tower so it is almost what it is from hundred of years back dating around 1590's. |
